This crocheted trio of Easter chicks by Heather Gibbs is a nice-sized project if you’re just getting into amigurumi.
Nothing says Easter quite like a cheerful clutch of chirping chicks! These little cuties really come to life with the right finishing touches, so take your time and enjoy the process. Be sure to stuff each chick firmly to give them a lovely, round, and satisfyingly plump shape — generous stuffing will help them sit nicely and hold their form. When it comes to attaching the beaks, legs and wings, a little extra care goes a long way. Try pinning each piece in place before sewing to check the positioning and make any small adjustments.
